Do you even have what it takes to be successful?

Kevin Richardson | Lion Whisperer
Before I start, ask yourself
“Would I……as a matter of fact, could I, ever scurry up the courage to sit with lions?”
I bet many are like heck no. As human beings, I find it very sad that we are the biggest dreamers.
We sit back and dream about doing this and doing that but when it comes time to put up or shut up, many shut up without even a peep.
Say peep to yourself real quick with a high tone . That’s what they or we don’t say.
Another Question….
How much courage do you think it would take to chase down a lion? A lot right?
Besides it being down right suicidal, your chasing down one of the biggest and baddest to ever walk the safari.
So what do you think success is?
It is, in most instances, one of the hardest and scariest things to accomplish in life.
I’m not talking about having a few nice expensive cars with rims or women or men falling at your feet.
Not talking about living in a pent house on some exclusive avenue.
I’m talking about a true sense of freedom. Your financially, mentally and spiritually free. I didn’t lose you did I?
Lets break Success down a bit
See all that material stuff is great and I’m not knocking it at all because I’m getting that stuff one day, minus all the women of course. I just need one good woman in my life and I’ll be alright.
The thing is, all that stuff can be gotten with mere dollars, but I bet you won’t find spiritual and mental freedom on isle 3 at your local Wal-mart.
Those things don’t define success which has somehow (rap music) been drilled into our society.
Forget just being “Successful”
I was talking to my mentor the other day and he brought to my attention that I’m going to be the first person in my family to be “Ultra-successful“.
When I heard it, I was like “huh?“. First time ever hearing that but I liked it and I’m running with it;
But basically it means being successful in the three most important ways with the best saved for last.
- Financially: Not having to worry about bills or money; can help less fortunate; buy whatever you want and need without looking at prices.
- Mentally: Living a peaceful life full of tranquility (I love those words because they just sound peaceful rolling off the tongue). Showing stress the exit out your life and making time to spend living and loving life
- Spiritually: Knowing that since God is 100% for you and with him, no man can be against you. Living life with total faith and believing in his word. Knowing and thanking God for blessing you to be who you are today or whenever you become “ultra-successful“.
Success is what!!!
To tell you the truth, success is all mental. I felt successful the day I became liberated from depending on a paycheck from an employer.
I knew that with a strong belief in God, I would be alright.
Every day, I say my affirmations and in one, I thank God for sending key people into my life to assist me in my ultimate mission which is to become successful in real estate. I
‘m not going to go into detail but lets just say, I’m amazed constantly when I sit back and just reflect on some of the people I’ve met since the beginning of the rest of my life (when I got fired).
Remember learning to ride a bike?
Remember when you finally got it, the smile you had on your face?
If you never learned to ride a bike then Im sorry but you missed out on one of the 1st lessons in being successful. Run down to your local park immediately, look for a parent with crying child and a bike on the ground and ask for help.
Yes it has been hard but a very prosperous and humbling road to success.
I’ve had days where I didn’t eat.
Many where I didn’t sleep.
and my lights cut off and been broke but here come those key people again.
Please people, understand that success can’t be bought and it’s not cars, money, jewelry and women or men.
It’s being able to wake up each morning and know that if today was your last, you’d be accepted by God because you’ve accomplished the most important one of all.
Spiritual success.
All the rest follow soon after.
That’s what God told me. Now here’s a question I’m going to ask you:
Would you chase down THE lion?

Kevin Richardson
I cant even take full credit for this post. I was talking to one of my cousins last week. His name is Fred Sykes.
He’s a football player for the University of Illinois.
Well in our convo, I was telling him how hard this Road to Success was but I was going strong and that’s when he told me that what I was doing was like chasing a lion.
I told him I had to write something about that when I got inspired.
Well I must say that I’m proud of him because he made a huge change in his life after a brief talk earlier in the month.
It’s a huge step into becoming a REAL man and ultimately becoming “Ultra-Successful”.
“Its like your chasing a lion because regular people are scared to quit their job and chase a dream. It’s so hard to accomplish when you have to actually work hard and its scary to them. That’s why I say you’re chasing a lion because it has its teeth out meaning it could be the worst thing to ever happen to you if it bites you but if you beat this lion, you have power and confidence and you’ll get paid for that fur. LOL!” -Fred Sykes
(No lions were hurt in the writing of this post)

Great article Dennis. I’m working on becoming ultrasuccessful myself and can’t wait until I am financially secure enough that I can go on Secret Millionnaire and give $20,000 to a charity.

Sounds like a plan to Steve. I love to give to.. It’s a great feeling to help people that are less fortunate and people in our position, we can give both financially and mentally…
